Sorry about the misspelling. But I need to break up my routine alitte at the gym and do something other then weights and going on the eliptical and the bikes and the treadmill and the ad machines. So, been tempted to go to a yoga or pilaties class. Just don;'t know what would be overall better for your body.

PLEASE HELP.

I am not familiar with Pilates myself - looks like something I'll need to read up on. Yoga would certainly be good for working on flexibility. Your current routine sounds good for muscle strength and aerobic activity, so some sort of flexibility training sounds like all you'll need to add.

Hmmmm....I think I just found myself a New Year's Resolution after all!

I have done pilates in the past. Very good work out. Not as easy as it looks but when youre done, it definately feels like you were working your butt off :)

My advice would be to try both. I have been doing Pilates for about a year now and love it. It is the best thing I ever tried.

Pilates and Yoga have similar foundations but some people like one more than the other. Personally I don't like Yoga at all. I have tried it a few times and I didn't like it. But I know a lot of people that do.

Both exercises help you build stength, improve posture, and make you feel relaxed when you are done.

Hey - I've done both Yoga and Winsor Pilates. Alot of the Winsor Pilates exercises mirror Yoga exercises. They both are great and give me one hell of a workout!!! Try it and I'm sure you'll enjoy it!!!
