I begged him to reconsider and he said he just needed sometime to think. Yes it was true we were having a fight, and after reading all these posts on how when a guy says he wants a break, hes breaking up with you I had pretty much no hope. I had NC for the entire week, hoping he would call but he never did. By Friday I had thought it was definitely finished and theres no way he could still love me. [/FONT][/sIZE] [sIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Then last night he called, ( exactly one week) and asked to come over. When he saw me he begged me to take him back, saying that he was punshing himself for taking me for granted. He said that he cant live without me and he was so sorry for putting me through that. (He actually cried and he NEVER cries).[/FONT][/sIZE] [sIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Now everything is perfect, if not better because we know what went wrong the first time . So there you have it, sometimes they just need to realise how much they need you. It was the worst week of my life, but im so glad it happened[/FONT][/sIZE]

yah Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 happy for you I was in a similar situation. My bf asked for a break too. He said he needed about 2 months. We met up after 1 week and he said he's realized how much he missed us being together already. So it was way shorter than expected and there was a happy ending.
