So the guy I've been dating reconnected with me again on Monday. He left work early & called me and we ended up hanging out later that night. He sent a cute text message on Tuesday, I called him Tuesday night & we spoke on the phone for a little bit. I called him Wednesday night, as we do talk on a daily basis, and he texted me much later that night saying he had just gotten home from work & wasn't sure if I was still up. We exchanged a few text messages and then I fell asleep.

Since that point, I haven't heard anything from him. Nothing. No phone call, no text message. I also have not contacted him since then. We're kind of at a weird no contact standstill. I know he's busy with work (something he warned me about) but it's very bizarre not to hear from him at all for the last 3 days.

I'm not sure if I should reach out to him, let him come to me, or start to accept that he could be "just not that into me". Any advice?

Hi Cinderella,

If I remember correctly, his busy season is tax time? So, he should be less busy beginning April 16?

I'd suggest that you mark a day on the calendar that's after Tax Season, say April 18 (next Sunday). Give him that period of time in case it's legitimate that he's swamped at work. During that time (the next week), don't try to contact him, and don't spend too much time obsessing over him not contacting you. Just get busy with friends and your own stuff and let the week pass without him central on your mind.

If that magical day does pass without any word from him, you can either chose to walk away at that point, or you can call him and ask him directly, what's going on here? That's your call.

I know this is very hard, so hang in there!
