Kris30 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Well, for those wondering how my date with the "don't wear underwear" guy went...it didn't. Last night I got a message saying he couldn't go out this weekend b/c his mom is in the hospital. I was bothered by yhe fact that he didn't CALL, but sent me an online message to tell me, but trying to give him the benefit of the doubt since his mom is in the hospital, even though I don't think that is a good way to cancel a date. Of course this guy could be completely lying...another girl who looked better could have entered the picture. Although he asked if I was still interested, was glad when I said yes, and indicated he still is. I'm just wanting honesty here and I'm so tempted to write him and demand it! I'm finding the dating world to be a cruel one. But on another note... I feel sorry for him for missing the date b/c I was gonna look so hot!
RobM Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I think you have to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe him the first time, and of course be all concerned and ask all about his mom and her illness when you finally do go out. Then you should have a good idea if he was lying. Just how hot were you gonna look?

First impressions are everything. You shouldn't even be thinking twice about this, write him off! The mom excuse is BS.
