DenverBachelor Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 So last night my friend Woodie shows me his Facebook account and I realize that the only reason I haven't been using Facebook was because I didn't want to start the silly process of blocking all of my ex's friends, etc. after the initial breakup. Well, the other night, after being totally over it completely, I logged into Facebook and got my account updated and even sent a congratulations to one of our mutual friends (she just had a baby girl). This morning, sure enough as the sun rises and sets, I find out my ex blocks me from Facebook. Absolutely hysterical that I'm completely over this and she's still acting like a two-year old. What clued me in was that I was looking at one of our mutual friends accounts and suddenly this morning people were replying to her but her messages were gone. I guess she's taking this resentment, anger and hatred to the grave with her.
The Paper Knight Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 When Cortez arrived at the new world he burnt all his ships so that his army was commited to the cause. Its better that way.
Toki Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 ...Cortez was a genocidal monster. Anywho, I know ex's act strangely, everytime my ex has guy troubles she thinks Ill be there with arms wide open, which is idiotic cause Ive never once consoled her since departing.
Nikki Sahagin Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I actually think blocking someone is the mature thing to do. I blocked my ex - then again he dumped me, not vice versa, but its easier that way.
WTRanger Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 To me, finding it funny means you are masking something. If you were truly over it, you'd act with the golden emotion of indifference. The first thing I did was block, then delete my ex. That way I could still communicate with the rest of my friends and not have her be the sole reason why I disappear from everyone else. Unless, of course, she was the only reason you were on FB to begin with.
