Woggle Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 http://www.loveshack.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2742048&postcount=119 If anybody here wonder where my negative attitude towards women comes from it is from hearing this kind of stuff. I actually sort of respect her for blunt honesty but this is what makes me think it is not even worth trying to be a faithful man that treats a woman well because we are still jerks that deserved to be betrayed anyway.
TheBigQuestion Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 You know, I've always thought that particular poster was a troll to at least some extent. Mostly because she confirms even the most extreme and far fetched statements made by the bitter/misogynist men on this board.
D-Lish Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Seriously W... The poster can't even spell- and everything she posts is antagonistic. I've told you before- looking at the OW/OM forum hoping to find stories of monogamy is like trying to find a spare twinkie at a fat kid's party. Don't lump posters like me in with the likes of posters like MD... Or I might have to find you, and do some damage.
Crazy Magnet Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Don't lump me in with that kind of poster either. I've never had thoughts like that and I can't recall my friends ever saying anything like that either. I second the troll posting vote! lol
aerogurl87 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Umm first off I'm not marrying anyone I find to be average or ugly. He's gotta be cute by my standards at least (although I'm one of those people who think cute guys can be undeniably hot if they have an awesome personality to back up their looks) and I don't care if he wants to give me a family and financial stability. If he doesn't make me happy overall (and yes that includes sexually) then it ain't gonna happen. So I have to say no that is not how I feel whatsoever.
Chrome Barracuda Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Yep it's pretty much true. they'll marry someone for stability but let the alpha dog bad boy show up, it'll be we're just friends and I dont know, i never felt that way about my husband, or he touched me like ive never been touched before. I heard it all, see it all. she aint fooling anyone, but she does have a hint of truth. Women will marry someone well off and screw someone if the opportunity present itself. but it works in opposite too. just look at tiger woods and jesse james. Their wives are stupid hot and yet they are never internally satisfied.
Citizen Erased Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I blocked Woggle so I can't see what he posted but I already know the answer: no, we don't, you need a hobby.
Taramere Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 http://www.loveshack.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2742048&postcount=119 If anybody here wonder where my negative attitude towards women comes from it is from hearing this kind of stuff. I actually sort of respect her for blunt honesty but this is what makes me think it is not even worth trying to be a faithful man that treats a woman well because we are still jerks that deserved to be betrayed anyway. Reading your posts is always a bit like listening to unending rants about the irrationality of the human condition, from someone who likes to hang out at their local psychiatric unit on a daily basis...just for fun and "research". To be fair to you, though, all of us regulars are probably a bit guilty of doing the same thing.
grogster Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 (edited) Everyone of us, with 30 seconds of searching, can find a Shack post, which confirms our obsession du jour. The significance here lies not in what the troll wrote (by the way, I bet the troll is another bitter young white guy), it's that you found it representative of women in general. Wog, the Shack can be a hazardous place for some: obsessives, gender masochists, etc. Think about taking a break from here. A long one. Edited April 9, 2010 by grogster
cooldudeinberlin Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 oh come on... the poster (not even entirely sure is female) is grabbing your goat... not even someone that sounds like they have so many options as they describe... either its someone very bitter for something they perceive as being wronged... or is a guy posing as a chick to just troll. I sort of thought the statement was ridiculously trolling... made me
Anela Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I thought the poster sounded like a guy, as well. This is the same crap I've heard from someone who has bought into the PUA stuff, about not being able to trust women.
Onwards Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 http://www.loveshack.org/forums/showpost.php?p=2742048&postcount=119 If anybody here wonder where my negative attitude towards women comes from it is from hearing this kind of stuff.. This thread demonstrates that your negative attitude towards women is probably more related to your inability to differentiate between what is a blatantly antagonistic viewpoint, and one that is reflective of widely held views. I suggest adopting a more introspective approach.
Author Woggle Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 I don't believe she is a troll. I hear this same view expressed it work and others have implied it on here even though they might now be as blatant.
cooldudeinberlin Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 well Woggle, I feel for you... I also used to live in New Jersey and now that I know where you are... I can say I believe it... something really f*cked up about the people and society there, no offense... and I actually enjoyed my time there... but the society at large in the north east registers delusional and emotionally disturbed (and Im not trying to be funny... Im serious) Then again, get a good look at the women saying this... its not like they really have their choice either no self respecting, confident, intelligent, beautiful woman with a high standard would ever put themself in such a situation... come on.... just keep it in perspective
Author Woggle Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 It some times seems like cheaters get advantages in life. I’m happier living life honest, because when I lie it’s a burden. I like to gain and keep trust, and it is also a relief to put my trust in others. It doesn’t matter what most people are like in your opinion because you get to choose the people who can come, and stay with you. I debate with myself. should I be an ethical person or should I just become another scumbag and win in life? It is a hard dilemna.
alphamale Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I debate with myself. should I be an ethical person or should I just become another scumbag and win in life? It is a hard dilemna. just be yourself
TaraMaiden Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Why do people put themselves through all this drama? Ah woggle...I was wondering how long you could resist more drama for. And here you are, creating it again. I knew it wouldn't be long.... It takes a troll to know one......

TaraMaiden Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 No. It isn't. And you know it. And women on here have confirmed it. And I second that. And the poster is a guy, without a doubt. Because only somebody ridiculously dense and stupid would buy into that idea. Don't you think?

PhillySpecial Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 First of all if a woman is marrying an "average or ugly loser" then she's stupid. Marrying an average or ugly guy who is not a loser but rather successful, a great provider with a decent personality is understandable... and having a fling on the side hey, sh*t happens. But if she goes out and marries a "loser" she must be a loser herself. Fail!
shadowplay Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I blocked Woggle so I can't see what he posted but I already know the answer: no, we don't, you need a hobby. Ha! I think I'll do the same.
TaraMaiden Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I know quite a few women offline who feel that way. I Don't Believe You. If you know a few women 'offline' who feel that way, there would be a whole lot more online to back you up. I don't believe that the only women who feel this way just happen to never post on a forum. I've never seen any women online agree with you. And I don't know any women offline who feel this way. Therefore, you're talking out your abassoola again....
make me believe Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I hear this same view expressed it work and others have implied it on here even though they might now be as blatant. I've never in my life heard a woman say anything even remotely similar to what that poster said, so frankly I'm pretty skeptical that you're allegedly hearing it from so many women IRL.
