Hey, if it works for you. It's not like you're running off and getting married at 2 months. I had a BF that moved in with me very soon after we started seeing each other. His lease was up, and he was at my house all the time anyway. We didn't stay together, but it wasn't because we moved in together too soon.

My mom used to be very much against cohabitation- the whole "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free" bit. But with so many divorces, she now thinks that couples should live together for at least a year before tying the knot.

Lets see, met H in March, moved in together May 3rd...I don't think it was even a full 2 months. It was a LDR and I hated my job with a passion, decided I was old enough to make my own choices about my life and did it. We were engaged a month later (more to make family happy with the co-habitating then anything else) and married 14 months after that.

I would always recommended living together first.

Wow, big age difference. The ex being in the picture is a little worrisome also.

I wouldn't say 2 months moving in together is a huge red flag but I will say that the other factors in your relationship could cause some issues during cohabitation. Keep the lines of communication open and remember that living together is sometimes hard work.

Hmm, the age...worries me to be honest. 18 is very young in experience of life compared to 31. I would be less worried at 41 and 28 simply due to experience in life being closer by that time.

Honestly, I would not want my 18 yo daughter (or son to avoid being sexist) to be with someone with that much life experience over them. I would worry about it not being an equal relationship.
