CLC2008 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 How would a person feel if he/she suspected someone from their past that they were dating, had feelings for, etc., turned out to be divorced or had children but never mentioned it during the time you were together. Even though it is the past, you're not with the person anymore, would you still be bothered by it and pissed?
GrayClouds Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I would be a bit pissed, follow by gratefulness that I was no longer with them and hopeful that my people picking skills has improved.
thepulse27 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I'm afraid I think a lot more context is needed here; hypothetically, of course.
Author CLC2008 Posted April 9, 2010 Author Posted April 9, 2010 I'm afraid I think a lot more context is needed here; hypothetically, of course. Just try to think in terms of black and white. Would it bother you, yes or no?
GrayClouds Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Just try to think in terms of black and white. Would it bother you, yes or no? More importantly why are trying to hard to get approval about how it makes you feel? For no matter if it does or does not bother you, it really has no affect on your future unless you choose for to let it.

GrayClouds Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I know you're right and it doesn't matter, oh well. When ever we find that some one we invested in lied or deceived us it hurts but to hold on to that hurt give them more power then they are worth or deserve. Be thankful you have moved beyond them.
cdt76 Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 It would hurt me to know that someone I cared for was a complete fraud.

Author CLC2008 Posted April 10, 2010 Author Posted April 10, 2010 I got myself worked up over something that may/may not be true, which I know is silly. I think I actually had a mini-anxiety moment. Anyway, I think it's safe to assume that it would bother most people if it did turn out to be true. But we have no control over it, like some of you said, which is true.
