supersub Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I am here to tell you that its very possible that when and if you do get that elusive second chance, it may just be an excuse to see what power there is left and whether or not the other person can play a little game with you. My friend in Phoenix was telling me recently how he and his ex girlfriend had reconnected after 6 months in December, and they had talked about dating slowly again but exclusively, however to his dismay he later found out that once she drew him in she only wanted to casually date him with it being pretty much all on her terms, and the real kicker? She wanted to be able to date other people. What a reconciliation that is! Run to the hills!
aerogurl87 Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Sounds like what happened with me and my ex. 6 months after we broke up he said he wanted to get back together slowly, but then I found out "get back together slowly" meant "I want you to wait for me and let me date around while I string you along whilst trying to finally make up my mind about you." So I moved on to better pastures.
