singlelife Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I like to do my own thing and if me and a girl isn't working out I never saw a need to keep trying. I always talk to my exes during the break up about neither of us suck, we just don't match. Well, I am cool with all my exes even my ex wife. We all talk from now and then and get together and have super sex and nobody gets hurt. It's crazy but I get along better with them now than when we were together. So life is good, but I find it interesting that women continue to do this instead of leaving me alone. I know some other guys with this situation as well.

I tried to do with with a couple of exes, and that didn't work, because we find out that both of us still had an emotional attachement with each other. So really, it isn't being FWBs at all, its denial and avoiding the fact that you're alone again. But if you have been able to successfully navigate through that issue, kudos to you, and hope that in the long run it doesn't come back to bite you.
