Kris30 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I have a date this week with someone I "met" online. It will be a first date. Sooooooo, safety tips? Meet him in a public place and don't ride in his vehicle, right? What about kissing goodnight? OK if everything seems ok?
Engadget Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I'm wary of online dating too, but I'm sure the majority aren't much different than someone you would just meet in person. That being said, yeah make sure you have an escape plan! Also make sure they're the same person they claimed to be online. If they look different, something isn't right obviously.
BobSacamento Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 For a first meet I usually keep it to just coffee and nothing too serious. I think the main goal to show the other person that you aren't a major creeper. I also usually get the number after this date too depending how careful the woman is. The second meet is the real first date in my book. So that's when I usually go in for the kiss if it feels right.
