milkmaterial Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 ok get this. i have 3 persian cats that have been with me for a while. my family and i want to sell them this year and we're just waiting for money to come in so we can have them groomed and have their shots. anyway my "friend" asked me for the cat, for her daughter. initially i asked the daughter several times if she wanted one and she always said no. shes they type of kid who likes only video games and thats about it. i have also given this friend pets before that she claims have gone missing. unfortunately it was too late for me to remember of those events that happened (the missing pets), cause it was about 10 years ago when we were in high school. ive lent her a cd that she sat on and broke, and a digital camera that she also broke..lol. anyway i was trying to avoid my friend on msn and yahoo messenger for a whole night until the next morning when i got tired of her messaging me about getting the cat. i had a feeling this was on of her "phases", and that she just wanted the cat on an impulse. anyway i got fed up w/ her messaging me so i was like okay just have someone come over and take it. one morning i woke up to her banging on the gate with her daughter and they were ready to take the cat. i put it in a comfy cage for transportation to her house and my friend even wanted to get 2 cats..mind u , i didnt sell it to her. after a few hours (hanging out in my house) she decides she doesnt want 2 cats, she wants only 1. so i was like ok. my dad wanted me to give her the 2 cats since he just wants to get rid of them i guess (hes not a cat person). so about after a month, (last thursday)she tells me she wants to give me back the cat (surprise surprise), cause it was meowing loudly and that she has received summons from someone in her neighbourhood about the noisy cat. this cat hasnt done this in my place. my friend told me maybe the cat misses her mom or something. naturally i got mad, i told her "i knew it". because i convinced my parents that she was responsible to take care of it but she wasnt. then i just told her to have someone send it to my place, and she said she will have the cat sent to my place on wednesday of the following week. the next morning i got a IM msg from her saying she "sold" the cat to her friend, i was like whoa.. i muttered every 4 letter word i had in my vocabulary except for the C word (cause i really dont wanna go that far), but i felt on the verge of tears and she told me she wanted to see the cat go in a "good home", and she saw her friends eyes got so happy when they got the cat. i told her to go F herself, i deleted her off my msn, yahoo and facebook. God i wish she can just disappear out of my life. she has done a lot of things like these before and now it seems like i jsut let her abuse me this whole time. she didnt even actually apologize, she said sorry, and then made another 3 paragraphs trying to defend herself and her actions. i always knew that our friendship wasnt real or good enough. i felt i was always treated like an outcast even though ive poured a lot of time and energy and faith in the friendship. at least im old enough to know now, and i have reached a milestone in my life.
