He may not be able to get away with the serial hooking up with the 20 somethings anymore, but there are a long line of women who would love to have him put a very large and expensive set of rings on their finger.

He may not be able to get away with the serial hooking up with the 20 somethings anymore, but there are a long line of women who would love to have him put a very large and expensive set of rings on their finger. correction... a long line of women who dont necessarily have their choice in men.... this is 2010, not 1962 or even 1990 in Alabama... women are independent, have their own lives, do not want to be taken care of, strong, confident... no woman of any value or desired would ever "line up" for a guy for this reason... sure there are women who will do it, but like I said... not of value or desirable ;-)

I'm not making any judgements about his choices, btw, it is fine in my book for a person to date whoever they like but yea...when it comes to me then considering dating that person myself I'd be put right off.
2sure Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Hey, if thats who he is attracted to and who is attracted to him - consistantly...I would think that his interests, conversations, etc were more geared to someone less mature than myself - both emotionally and age wise. I could not see myself being attracted to someone unless they thought I was just what they wanted.

This guy is considered to be a 'catch' for whichever woman can pin him down long enough for him to marry her. Now, not all women are like that here - but more than a few are even in this advanced society. For as much that has changed, much stays the same. Particularly down here in the South.
