jmo28 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I had dinner with a female friend who is much older than me (10 yrs--i'm early 30s, she's early 40s) who offered an interesting perspective on calling a girl when she's not home. I had mentioned that I often call or text a girl basically putting the ball in her court to call back. Ie, I might say Hey Rosie, give me call when you get a chance. Or, in response to a text "Great, let me know when you're available" Anyway, my female friend says she likes it when a guy calls and if the girl isn't there, says "Hey sorry I missed you, I'll try you again tomorrow at 7" or something like that. That way, the guy stays in control and the ball is always i his court. Obviously at some point if he keeps missing the girl, he has to wait for her to call back or just give up as she's not interested. But, what do you girls think of this? Do you prefer when the guy calls again after missing you, or do you like the empowerment of calling the guy back when you feel like it. I guess, lets assume you like the guy.
