wjg23g Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Hello all- I was involed with a girl for a couple months, we were very close friends before that. She decided to stop things because she had a long distance BF (I knew about him, but she told me they were likely breaking up), saying its not that we couldn't be together, just not at the moment. We stayed close, but it didn't work- she drifted and I didn't take it well, so there was a little drama. She told me 2 weeks ago not to contact her outside of school, and that we could just be casual friends. My problem is that I have to sit next to her in class 4 days a week for 4 more weeks. I've said hello & made small talk a couple times, & she was quite friendly. But on other days, like today & yesterday, we don't even look at each other or say hello. also, she hasn't initiated any contact w/ me since her harsh message. Should I stop saying hello, being friendly? Or just be friendly at times & otherwise ignore? I still care very much about her..

GrayClouds Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Avoid long conversation or even overly chit chatie. Be polite, responsive but to the point, Show class and dignity it always wins.
