No more than supposing somebody who goes to fancy dress wearing an Egyptian costume thinks he's Tutankhamen....You're being ridiculous. It's tasteless, maybe. But an indication of Nazi sympathies....? Only in your world, B, only in your world.

HELL NO!!! SHE HAD IT COMING...

and she gets what see deserves BIGTIME!!!

(See the "Competition" Section of LADDER THEORY)

Here's- the part:

"Women seem to especially like it if you are more devoted to your bad music, biker gang, forearm tattoo or marijuana. These all seem to work wonders. There are some interests you can show in a woman that will help you to F her: a healthy interest in destroying her self-esteem and in F her friends more than her seem to work wonders. Note that the following topics of disinterest have been field tested and shown conclusively not to work: Unix, literature, poetry, international politics, and sodomy."

This is so, so... TRUE. Eloquently said, If I do say so myself!! :lmao:

shock value my rear end.

You don't wear Waffen SS hats and do nazi solutes unless you are a neo nazi.

You do when you are a big fan of old school Vivian Westwood designs. Check into it before you write people off as nazis. It is in jest and left open to interpretation specifically to get white America to cluck their tongues and recoil. In this way it perpetuated disapproval of what the Nazi regime represented. Beyond that, it is just old school punk.

In that photo, he is probably just screwing around and meant nothing about it. I'm pretty sure it takes more than clowning in a photo or wearing a hat to be a Nazi soldier.

I don't know Bullock. I'm sure she is hurt/embarrassed. What he did by cheating was low. But none of it is my business.

Uh, no.... its not only tasteless, but its a bit more than just in their world... in most countries of western and eastern europe, it can land you in court... even making the hitler salute while exclaiming "heil" will get you a day in court and fined. the symbals, gestures, etc. are banned in most places where they suffered the worst....

now I disagree with this, as I think freedom of speech should be unlimited... even if its about something we disagree strongly with... Id prefer the tastless a-hole or actual nazi having their freedom and i have mine to disagree and/or call a dick a dick.

and to the bad vs good boy...

by the way, to the above... the bad boy things has nothing to do with peircings, tattoos, biker gangs and the like... you arent going to get choice hotties with that... but bad boys do have similar behavior and attitudes as a strong, confident alpha male who isnt arrogant, but cocky enough to not give a sh*t what others think of him... which is a very powerful state to be in... woman definitely find that attractive...

the nice guy thing is usually one who is more desperate, needy, clingy... always trying to impress, always complimenting, barely has an opinion of his own and basically drops his life/needs and builds it around someone he is all ga ga for... in all honesty, this is creepy... insincere and incredibly dishonest... the nice guy is based on a deceptive facade, rather than genuine character.

I actually physically bumped into Sandra Bullock in NY, NY once... i barely noticed her, as new yorkers rarely make eye contact, etc. She was just like she was in movies... giggling, a bit silly, clumsy... and very scrumptious, mmmmmmmm.... but damn, if she is that insecure to date such a loser... I would never consider going out with her (like I really have the chance :D )

Im in charlottenburg (sleepy zzzzzzzzzz)... but great to come back to the peace and quiet after partying in xberg, pberg or freak-richshain

Isn't she german, or had german parents or something like that?

I remember eating at some restaurant by schloss charlottenburg, they gave me a giant piece of pork and a beer, I forget what it's called but it was famous..

being a Nazi sympathiser is not illegal in the UK. Giving the Nazi salute is not illegal in the UK. In Germany, yes. In Italy, yes. In Austria yes. but not here.....Broadcasting it and using it your sympathies in malice can be construed as incitement, so that is illegal.

even making the hitler salute while exclaiming "heil" will get you a day in court and fined.

In Germany, perhaps. But as yet, the UK has not declared this to be so....

the symbals, gestures, etc. are banned in most places where they suffered the worst....

A slightly different version of one of the symbols is actually an ancient Hindu/Buddhist symbol, denoting all-encompassing Love and Compassion.... . I wonder if I displayed it here, as an avatar, how many people would realise that?

She seemed to genuinely love him and got betrayed.

I'm with Woggle on this – I wonder if she fell in love with the guy she *knew* he could be, and mistakenly believed she could help him become that person? I also think his having a family was a big attraction, too, because she seems to be very close to his kids ...

Classic case of 'good girl' falling for 'bad boy' hoping to bring out and see the good guy inside. Only to learn the hard way that people usually don't change. You would think that by now at her age she would have learned that lesson.

Well, happened to me with a 'bad girl' c'est la vie..

Frankly no and I also dont care. I stopped paying attention after the announcement of it.

Here is the reality, she has repeatedly shown bad judgment again and again in selecting men. You like the bad boys, you get what you get. Not much more to say. To say you are shocked he is like this is like saying you are shocked that water is wet.

As Benjamin Franklin said:

"He that lieth down with Dogs, shall rise up with Fleas."

pppsh. Of course she was close to his kids, I'm sure he sort of pawned them off on her. That was my experience anyways. If the father is a good buddy, not good parent, if the crazy biomom is not in the picture, the father will seek out appropriate mommy material to do the parenting for him because he is unable to appropriately discipline his own kid.

But you know, in my DV support group they talk about how it can happen to anyone. No matter how well educated you are, no matter how old you are - if you lose your ability to establish healthy boundaries and respect yourself.

Let's see, the guy has a criminal record, is a neo nazi, has tattoo sleeves, and was married to a porn star. Gee, why would he be anything other than a loyal and loving husband?

Neo Nazi?...lol..really?... I need proof.

Noe Nazi's with weekly television shows making millions....I love it:D

The guy is just a geek that likes to act bad-ass...nothing more..he made a dumb mistake like anyone does..end of.

So is it low intelligence or mental problems that leads to these poor decisions?

Neither. But I have a funny feeling you know that already, and I'm not taking the bait. You.

I sincerely hope this thread isn't one based on "The Revenge of the Passed Over Nice Guy".

I do feel bad for Sandra. No one deserves the trauma of being cheated on. :(

But Sandra is also responsible for her choice in partner.

Posted

I do feel bad for her though... I think she's annoying, but everyone is to some level...However I have seen what cheating does to someone..... it sucks.

Now James is on my **** list along with Tiger...both closet hero's of mine... Not anymore lol

I think I was quite a bit more surprised that they were together than I am that they split. They really don't fit do they? He seems a lot more compatible with Michelle McGee than he does with Sandra.

Who knows why she decided to get involved with him, but looking at his past relationships it should not have really been a surprise

Posted

I would also like to challenge the guys who don't feel bad for Sandra and turn the tables back onto them. So...most have been hurt by women. Why did you pick this partner(s)? Can you not empathize, in consideration of this?

It doesn't mean you should enable people who consistently choose unwisely. But it shouldn't stop you from feeling other peoples' pain.

Saw a clip of them on the red carpet. Classic body language of a cheater..way off to the side, looking down, fidgeting, looking resentful and totally disengaged. If I were Sandra and had watched that clip, I'd immediately be suspicious..

Uhm.... yeah, no.

I don't worry about celebrities. I am more concerned with the broken hearts of those nearest and dearest to me than some person whose "personality" we only know through movies.

Once again, the desire for drama prevails.

Why on earth would anyone feel bad for Sandra Bullock? She got what she bargained for.

You never know. His great uncle was a nazi sympathizer and married an American nazi sympathizer.

How many non neonazis do you know who wear Waffen SS hats, with the TOTENKOPF on it, and do nazi solutes?

I dressed up as Hitler for Halloween once, and I'm of part Jewish descent. Some people are just less uptight and politically correct than others. That doesn't make them Nazis.

I have known genuinely sweet men with hearts of gold who rode motorcycles, and still others with full tattoo sleeves. Inked up teddy bears. While these are certainly stereotypical 'bad boy' cues and there does exist an abhorrent subculture drawn to those same accoutrements, the ink on ones skin or ones mode of transportation does not tell a full story about what is in the heart.

As for the Nazi memorabilia, personally I find it weird and distasteful, but I recognize that in America there is generally a degree of emotional remove from the Nazi movement, and that the history is fascinating to some, the imagery used more casually. As a world-traveler with an abiding interest in ancient mythologies and cultures I have some potentially questionable items in my house, too. I have cannibal forks from Fiji and books on demonology, yet I am neither a cannibal nor a believer in the occult.

I do agree that his potential white-supremacy leanings, or at least those of company he kept, get more suspect when you factor in his mistresses' WP tattoos, etc. But I think it's important to keep in mind that Sandra Bullock apparently knew nothing about an awful lot of the company he kept and mischief he got up to while she was otherwise occupied with her career.

Clearly there were many aspects of Jesse James that Sandra was not privy to. Should she have used more careful judgment? Maybe. Probably. That doesn't exempt her from my empathy. Haven't we all made a bad choice and been hurt for it? Does that make us less deserving of human sympathies and respect?

Did you make a nazi salute that millions of people were able to see?

I'm curious, let's change they hypothetical, do you think you people would be more or less forgiving had he worn a KKK robe instead of a nazi hat and doing the nazi salute?

Posted

People can be truly strange. I once worked with a guy who collected Nazi memorabilia but only dated and got into relationships with visible minority women of different ethnicities, treating them really well. Just bizarre.
