I was thinking recently about how it would affect things if you were in, or looking for, a relationship just for romance & other 1-on-1 reasons; compared to if you were looking for a relationship where you would want to have kids. What differences would it make, do you think? Would you be more picky about your partner, would there be more red flags, more dealbreakers? Would they have to meet a higher standard?

Also, do you think some people are just not suited to raising families? Think of guys like Mick Jagger, who have kids with different women and aren't exactly closely involved with bringing up the babies. Is this a valid approach?

Given the plummeting birth rates in the west, do you think that rich/advanced societies place too many penalties on reproduction?

This plummeting Western birth rates business sounds lifted from white nationalist writings. I hope that is not where you are getting your information. True, some European countries are barely reproducing their own populations. But birth rates world-wide have dropped over the past century, albeit unevenly.

You raise a very strange point - what have birth rates got to do with white nationalists? And how would a racist site reporting the birth rate in any way affect the truth of the latter? A country's birth rate is a statistical fact, measured by adding up all the recorded births in a given year and dividing by the total population. That figure is the same, and equally true, whether it is reported by the UN, the local government, National Lampoon, stormfront.org, or a 4 year old toddler at the local creche. Facts do not become false just because they get reported by unpleasant people.
