Lindsey Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 So as I mentioned in When is Enough Enough? I have basically set my mind to leave H. Here's my question, I normally pay all our bills out of my account and then he gives me money for them. The thing I have the biggest problem with is two of our larger bills are coming up: lot rent and car payment. Should I still continue to pay these even though I'm considering leaving in the next week or two? What is the right thing to do? I will be moving out so I will not be living in the trailer but I may take the car with me as long as his car is working when it gets back from the shop this week.

I don't see what meeting your financial commitments has to do with you leaving your husband. And I doubt the lender would either. You'll feel better about yourself in the long run if you take the high road--if that is what you're asking.
