Is it considered unattractive?

Not very lady-like?

Or is it really not that big of a deal?

To me - the ultimate turn on is a woman who dresses just a little bit provocatively, acts a little bit buttoned down - not like a prude - but little to no cursing/and very little if any sexual banter - but is a total wildcat in private/in bed.

Every guy is different.

I have known many men that find it hard and unlady like but sometimes how can we help it when were mad.

Yeah, for me, it's pretty unattractive. Right now I see some attractive women outside window and I can hear them gabbing. I tried to imagine them cursing like sailors and I got turned off by it. It's not merely because it's unladylike. It's more because of the way women talk. Women talk a mile a minute and it's unattractive to hear them blabbing on and on with so many curse words jumping outta their mouths.

**** if I know!

If it's in place of adjectives, and it's because they can't describe things with adjectives, it's pretty unattractive.

Also, if it's genuine anger, and it's constant, it's totally a turn off.

Please see above for description of my EX. LOL!

I was going to post "I could give a fu@ing shiot what comes out of her mouth..."

I kinda fall in to the category that mem11363 has posted.. except I don't mind a bit more swearing.. seeing that I cuss pretty much all the time anyhow.. just not trashy

Everyone curses but women who curse all the time i dont like..I prefer women with some class and grace and act feminine

My best friends wife is very vulgar and crass and talks like one of the guys maybe even worse..

Not a bad person,i actually get aong with her better then most of my friends wives because i can talk to her about anything and in any type of way and she wouldnt be offended.. BUT iam not attracted to women like that

I don't really cuss. It' s not part of my repertoire, so to speak. BUT when I am absolutely upset, I will use the F-word(if that). I believe I can still count with my fingers the number of times I have used it though. Here's an example:

Heated discussion with a superior regarding a case, superior being very condescending and a jerk- when I am proven right:

Superior: So Tami, the tests came back and you were right, like I always knew you were.

Me: Excuse me? you always knew I was?

Superior: Yes, I wanted to see if you knew what you were doing

Me: Really? Well, F-u, I always knew you were a jerk. ;)

You know I'm just teasing the OP and others. ;)

LittleMissWonder, worry less about men in general and worry more about your own needs within a relationship and also, what drives you. Overall, if you swear less it's best, especially within a professional environment.

My first girlfriend was someone who absolutely refused to swear in public or even with friends -- but behind closed doors/under the sheets it was an entirely different story. O.O It was the hottest thing ever.

Otherwise, no, it can be a turnoff.

cursing don't bother me.

I've got a colorful vocabulary myself that I am able to keep in check but it's nice to know a woman won't get all bend out of shape if I drop an F-bomb accidently.

I had a couple dates with a girl I had met on eHarmony a couple years ago. She cursed quite a bit and it made her seem negative and not very feminine.

As long as she's not doing a perpetual Andrew Dice Clay routine, it doesn't bother me. Most of the people I hang around speak their mind very openly, so if expletives find their way into the discussion here and there, I barely take notice. Of course, like anything else, there is a time and place. At a bar, anything goes. Meeting the parents for the first time...maybe not. As long as she knows when to speak up and when to clam up, it's all good.

That all depends. AFAIC, if a person swears or curses, it had better be inventive, original, and funny, and not as if he or she were rounding out a 25-word vocabulary. To me, that would be the ultimate turn-off. I'd much rather people express themselves intelligently.

I'm interested to know also, lol. I cuss almost everyday, but for the most part when I'm out in public I never ever use profanity or when I'm in front of my parents. I have a good enough vocabulary where it's not necessary. But when it's just me and my boyfriend or me talking to my friends, I use the f word alot, lol. I kinda like the way it sounds for some reason.

Agree with this.

so long as it is not in front of my mum and is backed up in my bed ;)

Never bothered me much.

My late mother used to call her bedridden mother the C-word, as well as pigface, b***hface, etc etc. I never use the C-word.

Personally, if I had kids, I'd let them cuss too... kids nowadays know every dirty word in the book anyways, and a lot of words that aren't.

Vulgar women are unattractive.

I matters to me, yes.

A woman that curses badly turns me off. A little is ok, but if every other word if ^$%$^^#$ then yes...

Posted

No because that means she probably won't whine about my potty mouth.
