Pizzaman81 Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Yesterday, a friend of mine visited my new apartment, and said oh my friend lives right across from you! Let me introduce you two. The girl is cute, has a great magnetic personality. But after talking to my friend about her, he doesn't want me to try to date her. He said he needs to protect her. I mean c'mon... really... i'm not a bad person. So strange. I can't convince him to let me try to get to know her better. Then why introduce us in the first place? Go figure.
silic0ntoad Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 He prolly wants to hook up with her, man. At least whenever someone dissuades me from trying to date a friend, that's the reason.
LittleMissWonder Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Have you tried asking him why? Maybe he has a history with her.
DustySaltus Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 He likes her. He should just be a man and come out and say it. Be careful of friends like this, they tend to disappoint.

Your friend likes her himself or 2. Your friend knows something about the girl that could make or break any relationship or potential relationship he is not willing to share with you. By the way, imagine a cute girl with a "magnetic" personality living right across from you, who else are you missing, pizzaman?
Author Pizzaman81 Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 My friend said I should stick to "models" because that's what my previous relationships and the type of women i go after were. But I'm attracted to this person, she's fun to talk to, very cheerful. I suspect he thinks I might break her or something. I mean, I am just trying to get to know her better, it's not like i'm rushing into things. But no, he won't allow me. "You should try to go after than accountant you were talking about" he keeps on changing the subject. haha. I love drama... by love, i mean hate.
DustySaltus Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Again, your friend sounds like a real winner. Someone I definetly would want to be in a foxhole with.
Author Pizzaman81 Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 So, I did what any good friend did.... I asked her out to dinner and she said yes. Sorry pal, unless you have a good reason... you're dealing with the Pizzaman... we do it MY WAY

Did you post about it and I missed it?
Author Pizzaman81 Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 There you go! Hey, Pizzaman, whatever happened to that date you took to some show? Did you post about it and I missed it? Ah yes. It was really awkward, and she didn't talk much! I don't think she's interested. Anyway, i'm keeping in touch, but no big hopes there. Thanks for asking! How you been?

I'm pretty sure that slavery is against the law even in America these days. So it's not like it's up to him to decide whether she can date you or not.
