Pedigree Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 There's a girl at uni that I've known for 2 years. I'm close enough to be considered her friend, though I'm definitely not someone that she sees regularly. I've only seen her a handful of times because I haven't been in the same class as her for quite a bit. Never seen her as someone I would be interested in that way but I've always liked her warm personality. Fast forward to the present and I bumped into her by chance a few weeks ago. Caught up for a few minutes before she invited me along to a harbour cruise that she's planning to have with her friends. I was hesitant but she was very keen for me to come along (I bumped into her twice since and the topic of the cruise and me coming along always came up). But I finally told her I wasn't gonna make it. It turns out I got other commitments and I didn't want to fork out the money if I wasn't sure I was gonna make it. I thought that was the end of that. But then she e-mailed me today. She said that she wants to meet me so I can give her my notes for a subject that I did last year but she's doing now (I remembered talking about that about her), then maybe we can have lunch. She even gave me her number to boot. What do you make of it, folks? Am I getting signals or am I just overthinking?
boogieboy Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 sounds like signals to me. Be prepared to make a move when you meet with her.
