Should I ask her if she had sex with anyone while we were on a break?

Okay, so my SO and I may be getting back together. The break was somewhat of an open-ended, anything goes kind of thing. I don't know if she had sex with any body else and part of me doesn't want to know and just move on.

 

Certainly I would want to know if we're both STD free. Sure she has had sex with men before me, but it's just weird that she could have had sex with someone else during the course of me knowing her.

I think you're asking for trouble. I agree whole heartedly that you have a right to know that you both are std free. However, I think asking if she has had sex is opening up a can of worms completely. You have already mentioned that you think that it would be weird if she was having sex during the time you know eachother;I suspect that is more than likely the REAL reason you want to ask and the std thing is valid but secondary in your agenda.

 

Are you sure you are ready to get back with her? I"m just curious as to why you are grasping at straws that lead to demise.
