Just out of curiosity, how do some people feel about this?

Anyone here AGAINST monogamous relationships? I work with someone who seems to talk about her hatred for it at a constant rate. And avoids words like, "relationship" and "couple". It's really elementary to me, but I'd thought I'd ask.

Just the other day, the one coworker made a joke how she has "slept in the same bed with the same man for two years", (I forget what led up to it, but that doesn't matter). But the other coworker chimes in with, "Ugh, so disgusting. I can't even imagine that".

I always assumed it was a jealously thing, or "I'm going to go against the majority and think THIS way" sorta approach.

Curious as to what others think, haha.

Here's what I'm thinking - anyone who has to get that worked up and irate over something that isn't rape, murder, or child abuse likely is just bitter. But that's just my opinion. It's like how I'm not for non moganomy but I certainly don't flip out because someone else is for it. I am happy in monagomy and if someone else finds their happiness elsewise? Good for them - it is their business and I'm not going to look down on them for it.

I personally am starting to feel that life wouldn't be so bad if I never found someone to settle down and get married to. Like your co-worker, I am sick of being told that your love life is a one way track that ends in marriage.
