JohnM
Each person is different, have you asked him how he likes it done if you are worried? Otherwise, make the motions that turn you on. If this is you on top facing towards him then knees pointed towards the side his head, feet tucked behind and resting on the bed either side of his thighs/knees. Use your hands to grip on his thighs and legs in order to maintain a balance and control your rhythm. If you choose to lean back further then change your grip to his shins for balance. You will find the right groove from either after a minute or so at most I would expect.

I don't think you need to aspire to be the bucking bronco-rider that you might see in movies and porn. Instead just let yourself get comfortable... and pursue your own pleasure, and his will hopefully happen naturally. If you can't figure anything else out, straddle him, and lean down to be chest-to-chest with him. Perhaps later, for a diversion, you can straighten-up and find pleasure that way for a while, just to change things around.
