DenverBachelor Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Seriously! There are a lot of posts lately about giving up and throwing in the proverbial towel after a bad fight where you got knocked out. Well, you know what? One of the hardest experiences we've ever had was coming into this world. We were pushed out into this bright crazy world where anything can and does happen and left the confines of a warm and comfortable place. When you were in high school and got your ass kicked for the first time, did you tell your mom and dad you weren't going to school anymore? No! You went up to that bully and told him or her, "Screw you, if you mess with me, I'll hurt you." And then that bully went on to the next kid who didn't have a pair between his legs and messed with him. Even in times of insurmountable odds, if you approach the situation with a, "I'll kick your ass if you try it again" attitude, you will grow and conquer. Yeah, your ex left you -- maybe you were together for one night or 50 years -- but the simple truth is that life has thrown worse at you and you were able to keep yourself in the game and adapt. That's what you have to do -- adapt. Learn from past mistakes, stop beating yourself up over them and go out there and show life, "Hey, screw you, I've been knocked down before but you know what? I keep getting back up because that's who I am -- I'm a fighter and I fight for what I believe in." Do you believe in love? I bet you do -- if you're here posting, you obviously care enough about love to keep fighting the good fight. You've been abandoned before in your life whether by your choice, their choice or the choice of the universe. The bottom line is that it is YOUR WORLD and you've got to make a determination and decide whether you're going to crawl into a corner and weep on Saturday night or get out there and keep on moving forward. The best character of any person is the character of fighting until your last ounce of strength and if you're alive and able to post about your ex and how ****ty they treated you, you've got enough strength to realize they weren't the one and to keep moving forward. So suck up the pain and swallow the anguish and keep on moving forward because the moment you become stagnant, you've lost the most admirable trait that anyone could ever want in another. Read that last sentence a few times and really think that one over and when you understand it, you'll understand that life will spar with you over and over but, in the end, you'll manage anything it brings to your plate and become stronger from the experiences. So stop moping and stop talking about notions that love is dead. Love only dies when the best of the best let it die and that's not who you guys are so shut up and keep swinging and keep moving forward.

That relationship ended and they went on to love again..and again...and again. That's a shame if people give up on love because they could meet the love of their life tomorrow. I am taking a break myself but never once am I going to give up. Love is a wonderful feeling that I can't wait to share with someone special again!

I am taking a break myself but never once am I going to give up. Love is a wonderful feeling that I can't wait to share with someone special again! Yes. But most importantly, you don't need love eternal to know love intense. You don't need love tomorrow when you have love today. You don't need to feel sorrow for love left in yesterdays when you have love all around you today. You don't have to pin the tail on any one donkey when you're in the middle of a bunch of hot asses.
