cabbs1989 Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I've been talking to this girl from scotland since the summer, firstly it was for friendship but somewhere down the line, we began to like eachother which is strange as we havnt even met. she was meant to come visit me at uni a few times but hasnt been able to due to family problems. the last time in early January she was meant to come she decided on the day we shouldnt talk anymore but changed her mind an hour later saying she liked me to much but still did not come down. anyway after 6 months of talking on the phone msn texting etc everyday, its been great she told me i was the best thing to ever happen to her which was nice. Recently however she began to act distance & strange saying she is unsure of things now, I hadnt began to act different to i was confused bout this. Anyway I decided to travel 8 hours on the train to Scotland to see her, when i arrived i walked in to the place where she was meant to work & they hadnt heard of her so i was a little but freaked out but tried the other shop in a big department store & they hadnt heard of her either. So i text her sayin can you ring me after work cause i came up to suprise you, she text me after work asking what i was doing here & i replied are you guna come meet me she said no i cant. so i was forced to spend that night in a hotel there. she text me the next morning saying i didnt ask you to come up, i found out she was actually working in the department store instead of the shop which is in the department store on that day, so i replied well my train home leaves in an hour would you like me to come see you & she replied no i want you to go home. anyway we have been talking since & in the last few days shes been better like talking to me more etc but still doesnt like talking bout me & her & stuff. she tells she does like me but doesnt want things to go back to the way we were before when all we would talk bout was how much we liked eachother & stuff. so im very confused as to what she wants or what her problem she wears she wants to talk to me & stuff & does like me but wont let it go back to how it is. ps ive asked her if she has another guy but she said why would i waste my credit & textes& time talkign to you if i did. i dont understand why she has gone all weird. please help

Ok granted you two never meeting before and you just showing up as a "surprise" would've probably scared me a bit too, lol, but I don't see why she didn't want to meet you at all. I mean she could've said "not now, how about later at a public place?" But she completely avoided you, yep I'm seeing a red flag. I think you should move on OP, something tells me this girl is hiding something.
