Why is the easy chick not gross when you're going around sleeping with anyone who's willing? And how does that not make you a worn out piece of a- who's not serious relationship material, too? This is the view that you and others have misinterpreted from this thread. The OP never said he found women who have slept around to be gross or unsexy. Quite the contrary, he's stated that he wants the easy women and is put off when the women describe themselves in a way that he interprets to mean that they used to be easy, but now will be difficult.

What makes him better? Well, for one, he's not a hypocrite. Not referring to you, specifically. I'm referring to anyone who's twisted what the OP said to turn this into another gender battle.

Other people in this thread have said that, not the OP. I realize the OP's objection was "oh, she's going to make me waste my time going through a few dates before she'll spread her legs, NEXT!".

He also stated when he desires to settle down it will be with a "good girl" and he will hide his past behaviors of sleeping with anyone who smiled at him. It doesn't take much thinking to realize he DEF has an opinion about the value of the women he prefers to cat around with now and what they will be valued at once he is done with them.

I will admit that I did not read this & therefore I would agree with most of your assessments. I guess the only sad thing, to me at least, is that he will probably get to have his cake & eat it too because those types of guys are valued at a premium by most women.

To a guy that has repeatedly been burned because he was too "nice" in his younger years, it means "You weren't good enough for me then, but now I can't get any better so you'll have to do." To the eternal optimist or desperate man, it can mean "I'm a much better man than all of that other trash she's dated in the past, so I'm 'worthy' enough to settle down with her. A woman finally sees all the good qualities no other women in the past have." I think women often mean well by that phrase, but I can relate to the OP's interpretation of it. Edit to say: Donnamaybe, maybe you should focus a little less on being combative and catty with your remarks? It's kind of juvenile to pick apart the OP's phrasing of the title. Everyone, including men, will eventually want someone that means something to them and there is nothing wrong with that. A good foundation for a lasting relationship is to not have sex too quickly and get to know the person first. You are ranting about women, when men do the exact same thing. And also, you can't actually expect to post something like that and not get some sort of contrasting opinion. Your rant was hardly that insightful

Suppose you walked into a store and the clerk said, "Ohhh you just missed out on our 50% off sale. You get to pay full price." Would you shop there happily, knowing that everyone else that day got a much better deal than you did?

She NEVER said, "I've been screwing around, but now I'm gonna make you take me out and pay for numerous dates before you get any." She COULD have meant, "I have dated lots of guys in the past (not necessarily having sex with ANY of them, by the way ) but now I want to date to find a life partner." And THEN he went on later to say he plans to just bang lots of chicks (he really LIKES "easy" girls), but plans to have nothing to do with them when he decides to settle down AND will pretend he's been SUCH a good boy in the past. Poser.

And by her saying she's "had fun" in the past doesn't mean she has slept around. Also, if Barky is just looking for sex, he shouldn't be associating with people who want relationships.
