vanek26 Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Okay guys, so I'm a 20 year old college student who's sick and tired of staying in every single night and being lonely. I recently got out of a 2 year relationship that started poorly and ended even worse, and now I find myself in a bind. First of all, I have no friends. I'm out of touch with all of my high school pals, and never really got around to meeting anyone in college. I mean, I do have occasional people I talk to, but nobody who would invite me out with them. So, what do I have going for me? I think I'm fairly good looking. It's hard to judge though. I've been with GORGEOUS girls in the past but have also been rejected by below-average ones. Just recently I met a girl when she was a little intoxicated, we hit it off, flirted and texted nonstop for a week, and then we met up again and I could sense the extreme disappointment in her eyes... yeah that was really tough to swallow. I'm intelligent and articulate, but it doesn't mean much if I can't even get out in the first place. I rarely drink, have never been downtown, and basically have lived as a hermit my whole life. So I mean... how do I get started? I need to take charge here, but it seems insurmountable. BTW, I wish I could post a pic of myself on here so I could get some unbiased opinions.
Els Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 So you don't drink - bars aren't the only places to meet women (and friends), and honestly I don't think they're one of the best places anyway. What are your hobbies? Go for clubs and activities that involve them - you may not necessarily get girls yet, but it sure doesn't hurt to have some friends in your current situation.
