OK, looking for complete honesty here. I'm only interested in responses from married women. This thread is being started as a reaction to another thread I have going where someone poses the hypothesis of "once a cheater, always a cheater" especially as it regards cheating women.

I, for one, hope the hypothesis is false because I'm attempting recon after my W's affair.

So here are my questions:

How many of you women have had one and only one affair? Is your marriage heathly now? How long has it been since your affair? Do you ever feel tempted to have another affair or do you feel it was a one-time mistake? (be honest)

I think that this is better suited in the marriage forum. My reason is that here in infidelity or in the divorce forums, you will receive more negative responses than is reality. I guess it is possible that the marriage forum will be biased to the positive responses.

Sorry...I am not a woman....just a guy interjecting his opinion. :D

I had only my one A, it was a revenge A that ended up going further than I thought it would since I ended up falling in love with my XAP. It has been 1.5 years since the A ended and no I do not feel tempted to have another, the feelings upon ending were more than I could handle the hurt goes beyond words. I honestly feel my A is a one-time mistake. I would do anything to take it back. My M is somewhat struggling I won't lie, a lot of our marital problems lie in my attraction having waned for my H. I love him, we are the best of friends and he is a wonderful father, but I feel I lost a lot of respect for him when he had his A, plus a lot of other irresponsible things. Still trying to find my way back.
