Kliik Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Yeah I'm on a streak today lol. I noticed that there are much less tips for women online on how to approach guys and how to understand them. And for the few videos/articles I see about the topic, they're either very vague or just involve overly simple/stereotypical, sweeping generalizations of men. It's frustrating too because, even when I ask guy friends about dating/relationship advice, I get the vibe that it's 'forbidden information', because I feel like I'm getting textbook answers all the time. I'm never satisfied with what I find because I think guys are just more complicated than how people say they are. 'Men are simple' seems like such a false statement to me. :\ I'm just a confused chick and I wish there was a way I could understand you guys better. lol Anyone else feel this way?
bayouboi Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Guys ARE simple. If you have a fit body, a cute face & aren't a lunatic you can pretty much have your pick of the litter. It's usually the 3rd criteria that dooms most women!
boogieboy Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Youre probably like most women going for guys that are above your league in some way. You go after guys who arent that into you and you think they are complicated, when they just arent attracted to you. Go for guys in your league, and you will find more success and simplicity.
calizaggy Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 For women it is simple.. 1. Don't put out right away. 2. Date a man that pursues you. 3. Be a good cook, nurturing/loving type.
zhsoj Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Of course guys aren't simple. They are people, they have different personalities, but for most they will act the part they have been given. In western society that usually means that guys are supposed to like things a certain way, and so they either do or pretend they do. Women are the same way - in general. So... Of course "guys" aren't simple. But you should approach them at first that way because that's what our cultural norms are today. After that you can attempt to connect with the individual.
spriggig Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Non-specific questions get non-specific answers. Men are just a complicated as women, in their own way. If you have something specific to ask, there are PLENTY of experienced, insightful men on this board who will gladly answer.
JohnnyBlaze Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Okay Kliik, what exactly about us do you want to know?
