I've been dating my boyfriend for about a year now, like most relationships we've had our ups and downs. He's currently a colleges student in new york and i took a year off of school. i've been to new york multiple times and he has been to toronto only once. i met him when i went to new york the first time (fyi) and we decided to give ldr a try. i have to say it has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride.

Recently we made the decision for him to come again but we went through a break up shortly after he left toronto because of a mix up in my work schedule i ended up having to work almost everyday he was here, and he was just really upset and disappointed in it (i would be too) Because of that he no longer wants to come to toronto because he thinks toronto was just too much of a horrible experience for him.

how can i convince him to give toronto another try.

thanks

NY & Toronto are practically in the same state, so its not so much that he had a horrible experience in TO . He had a horrible experience visiting you. You had to work, couldnt be helped.

While you were working, did you help him to occupy his time?

Are you serious?!?!?!? Because you had to work alot he's been traumatized and doesn't want to visit Toronto forevermore? Yes I can see how that would be a bad experience, but not enough to not warrant another visit. Sounds to me like he just wants you to always come to him because in reality that would be much easier for him. Just think, if you always come to him you are the one that has to worry about flight details, driving to the airport, being stuck on a plane, baggage issues, etc. All he has to do is wait for you to arrive. I'm sorry but your boyfriend sounds like he's a bit selfish and not good with making compromises.
