SummerLady Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) Someone my boyfriend dated before me contacts him now and then. He dated her for maybe 2 months previous to me. Not long. She texted him a couple of times in the summer even though he told her that he was with someone else. She recently texted him and told him she finally found the man of her dreams, he told her that is great good luck to you. What is it with this person? She goes months in between but always find a reason to text him. He never calls or texts her, its all her, I have seen the texts. This person is in her 40's. What am I missing here. They only dated for 8 weeks which was almost 1 year ago and he has made it clear he is not interested and not available. Thoughts.... I am not jealous I am just perplexed on why? Him texting her back saying he together with someone doesn't mean anything - could be a fake sms to hide the truth from you or him playing with her (as you know taken guys are more worthwile than dumped loosers or singles lol) --> How you know he never calls? are you joined at the hip? Be careful hun or u might end-up being a dumpee or the third gal in a 3sum or more sum woteva lol Good luck

I just don't get people men or women that chase, its creepy.

But hes gona be hit with many temptations, many of which you wont know about. Its up to him to stay true and faithful. There are guys out there that have honor and the rest do not. unless he has a track record of cheating with you you cant really tell if he will do things behind your back he dosent want you to know about. But you must have trust. trust him despite the feelings of what if, those feelings are ok and normal.

I never trusted my ex and had many reasons not to. He cheated and got caught finally... Thanks for the support and advice.
