Ex's friends tried to stop me from talking to a guy!!!!

So over the weekend I happened to be at the same club where 3 of my ex's best friends were. They were very drunk, I was with people, having fun, didn't notice them until they approached me. They tried to get me to talk to them but to be honest I was nice but didn't exactly want to rehash anything. Then I saw a cute guy who was eyeing me up. They went straight up to him ( or maybe they were talking to him before- who knows) and then came up to me and said " That guy is *ex's* friend, you can't do anything with him". I said "really" as left it at that. Turns out he has never even met my friend, and we exchanged phone numbers and kissed later on when he came to talk to me.

 

I'm pissed that his friends had the audacity to do this!!!! Does anyone else think this is really weird?
