nicka Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Hello, the one thing that seems to trigger the end of all these relaitionships is the statement - 'there was no passion anymore/ever, or the passion had gone from our marriage. What does that mean ?
ADF Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 An excellent question. What it means is that many people have bought into a completely unrealistic view of what relationships are like. No one can feel burning passion for their partner all the time. If you are with someone long enough, your relationship is going to run the whole spectrum of passion, boredom, joy, grief, anger, affection, etc. Passion is not something you feel every minute of every day you're together. Yet, there is this big lie in the culture that is how it is supposed to be.
