Drewy1888 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I had a breakup with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. We were really in love. Since she got her new car, she has been going out and partying all the time. I feel like she wants her freedom now that she has options. What can I do to get her back? Should I move on? We are both 19 years old so were still pretty young but I still love her a lot. I heard no contact will help. Please help me. Thank you.
Wallace1 Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Move on, IME any woman saying that has already decided other options are more interesting. They NEVER say that to someone they're truly interested in.

Your multiple bumps within a span of 10 minutes are probably a bit excessive...given that I don't think your post even moved anywhere on the Dating Forum... But anyway, I've been on a roll with translations tonight, so I will continue with yours: "I don't want a boyfriend" = I don't want you as a boyfriend. But I feel so bad about hurting your feelings that I'm going to say that I can't be with you because 'my life is a mess' and 'I just can't handle being in a relationship right now.' Meanwhile, I'm going to live my life, party it up, and find someone new as quickly as possible. (See also, "it's not you, it's me") You don't do ANYTHING to get her back. If she's going to come back, it's going to be her own decision...not because of anything you do...but luckily, you're very young...NO CONTACT, move on, meet new women, have fun with your life...

Yes I agree with this, your're young and it seems like should be ready and willing to move on.
