blue.iris Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I've come across some women who complain about men all the time. Literally, ALL THE TIME. Finally, I get sick of it and ask them why not just move onto women instead? If you think men are so horrible, and you're never going to meet a good one, and in your experiences, all the men you've met are 100% rotten to the core, then what's the harm in playing for the other team? Luckily, I've never met men who complain about women all the time in real life. However, all these online men's experiences with women are so horrible. And they've only ever met women with a sinister agenda. And they believe feminism has killed the 'real man.' And women cause men to anguish all their self respect and women are out to turn men into doormats who spend money on all the dumb things women want. And so on, etc. Why not just switch teams? Clearly, men understand each other's good intentions so well and can do no wrong. I think these unhappy online men would be much happier with the world and life in general if they switched to dating men.
Author Woggle Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 There are times I wished I was gay but I am just not.
donnamaybe Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Those topics have no relation to one another, and they're also a small sampling of what I write about in my thread/posting history. There's nothing wrong with asking advice on real issues like a self image disorder and an unwanted pregnancy. What Woggle talks about has little relation to any reality, including his own (he has a loving wife). He also seems incapable of talking about anything else. I don't think he's a bad person, but his perception is seriously distorted. You're worse than Woggle, because you genuinely seem like a crappy person. You contribute nothing to LS other than being an arse and spreading negativity. Yes, YES, and YES!!! Nice comeback, Shadow!!!
donnamaybe Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Completely untrue Woggle. You are everything you say unscrupulous women are (which is all of them to you). Unable to be content in your relationship. Constantly thinking of the opposite gender as the enemy. Never happy with what you have. One day you wish to walk away from your wife and be a player so you can treat people like tissue. The next, you're touting on about how your methods got you the perfect marriage - so long as you don't give her complete love because then she will walk away from you. You say one thing yet do another - like you say women do. You're methods are your success and you wish to teach others, but you don't trust your own methods enough to not snoop through your wife's email and online activity. You're like an old world snake oil peddler. It won't work; it doesn't even work for you, but your gimmick is soooooo entertaining the rubes in the crowd cheer you on. DAMN s4s. That was frickin' AWESOME!!!
blue.iris Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 There are times I wished I was gay but I am just not. There was a girl I met in first year uni who was a lesbian by choice. She wasn't attracted to women at first, but she was getting used to it (or so she claimed), because she had a very bad history with men. Perhaps you should try it. Who knows, you might like it. And you'd be free of women and their evils.

Perhaps your theory explains why there are so many gay men these days
stillafool Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 This is what tends to get men in trouble in their love lives. Most men today have a crippling fear of pissing off a woman and that leads to a man bending over backwards for any crazy whim that they might have. They are afraid to say no to a woman because god forbid a woman disapprove of them. Women then tend to walk all over them and lose respect which causes them to lose attraction. Getting over this fear is what could help men. When I stopped being afraid to piss off a woman is when everything changed for me. I can't explain how liberating it is to get over that fear. The ironic thing is that women were more attracted to me and respected me a whole lot more. Men can turn things around by learning to say no to a woman. I don't understand, you mean like when a woman asked for sex men should just say NO?

stillafool Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Actually, you may be on to something. Perhaps your theory explains why there are so many gay men these days Yeah, this comes from saying NO to women who want sex.

Maybe they aren't so much unhappy with women as much as their latent homosexuality.

It seems as though there's always a boyfriend drama, always some vitriol being directed at him by various ex boyfriends. "I ****in' hate men sometimes. I ****in' hate being gay. Men are ****s. Evil ****in' bastards." Woggle turning gay would not offer respite to the readers of this board. I feel very sure of that.
Author Woggle Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 Don't confuse me with an oppressed nice guy. I was like that but I woke up and it has been good ever since. Being gay is not as easy as just waking up and being gay. As much as I don't trust women as people they sure do look good.

As an alternative you could have a platonic marriage to another man, and screw women on the side whenever you needed a fix.

If men are much more decent than women, then why are so many gay relationships drama-filled?
bayouboi Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 It's interesting to watch how some of you are pretty much validating the OP's views on women with your vitriolic responses. The OP is tired of some of the crap the other gender shovels at him and so you all call him a latent homosexual? Wow. Conveniently, they'd also be ensuring that they didn't pass their genes down. /makes tacky comment about abortion

Is it because they criticize women? If you want guys to be always positive towards women then you might not want to be on a board with honest guys. Those guys are just being honest. By the way, what is body dysmorphia, is it real? I looked it up on the net but it looked like just a bunch of pieced-together hocus pocus that psychologists made up. It doesn't sound real; which means you might be suffering from an imaginary disease.

Wow. /makes tacky comment about abortion One person commented on latent sexuality, and that equals "you all?" I see the responses as more facetious than vitriolic, but if there is any vitriol it's justified. Those of us who've been on LS for any amount of time have had to read thread after thread and post after post by Woggle about how evil all women are. Of course it's going to get a response.
bayouboi Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I see the responses as more facetious than vitriolic, but if there is any vitriol it's justified. I wouldn't agree with you that it's justified, but I do think it's appropriate if you follow me for just a sec. I mean, why do we come here? Sure occasionally someone comes here to share positive experiences, but more often than not it's to post frustration, confusion, etc. with regards to our dealings with the opposite sex. We're all just flinging poop here.

It's only insulting to people who are homophobic. I was genuinely stating that if the OP and other men who are extremely dissatisfied with women were entirely convinced that women would never ever do them any good, then why bother. The future's already doomed: women are NEVER going to be nice to them. There has been at least one girl I've met who chose to switch her sexuality--I'm sure men can do the same if they are just so sick of women.

Perhaps some of you men here really do hate women and want a man but would never admit it. I understand frustration with the opposite sex (but for prolonged periods and not just one woman but the entire female populaton is trash to some of you guys) but to continue to hate all women with such passion makes one wonder if any of you should be with women anyway. Maybe you guys should try out other "men". You never know until you try it. At this point anything to make you happy.
stillafool Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 With all the abortions you've been having recently, I don't think we have to worry about your genes being passed down either Wow, that was mean, but if it's true then thank you Shadow for not bringing unwanted children into this world.

Venting certainly has its place, but with some posters it crosses the line into a near pathology in terms of obsessive single-mindedness. I agree...but I think that even posters like betamanlet serve a purpose for some men just as posters like Jersey Shortie serve for women. While I'm nowhere NEAR the end of the spectrum where I've given up on women or given up on being a nice guy, there are days where my frustration allows me to empathize with the emotions expressed by those on the fringe.
