Jessica155 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 What sites (if any) did you use to research baby names? I’m really struggling with what to name my soon-to-be daughter. Thanks!
Meaplus3 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 The Babycenter.com and Think Baby names. The first site also has some great tips for first time parents. Have fun naming your new little one to be. Congrats. Mea:)
Stung Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I tended to use books rather than just websites and I cross-checked everything because I'm a nerd like that and I would hate to think I knew the meaning of a name and later find I was wrong. Babynamewizard.com had a lot of useful naming tools. I found their Namevoyager app (babynamewizard.com/voyager) interesting, as I did not want to use any names that were too popular i.e. in the current top 100.
JoslynKaileyBanks Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 The Babycenter.com and Think Baby names. both are great sites
Meaplus3 Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Amazon.com also a great site to check for baby name books. Mea:)
califnan Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 What sites (if any) did you use to research baby names? I’m really struggling with what to name my soon-to-be daughter. Thanks! I think if I were having a baby .. I would go back to the old fashioned names rather than the newer names that are coming out of the soap operas now .. These aren't the real old names .. but I like: Margaret, Melissa, Melanie (Just my opinion) ..
moises9485 Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I stumbled across this really cute video blog at http://mommyandbabystuff.com/misc/lessons-from-the-baby-name-guru/73/ by this baby name expert named Stephanie. I got a lot of great ideas from her. P.S. we chose the name Anastasia J
califnan Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Hi Jessica, Just saw a poster's name: SarahRose .. Do you think that is a pretty name for a girl ... Do you know yet if your baby is to be a girl or boy?
