BradyBunch67 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Okay !!! My bf has a friend girl at work that is 25 years old. She is very pretty but he is 40 . They Facebook comment each other often and the other night , him and I were watching tv and he was instant chatting with her on Facebook. I got really mad and said , you work with her 8 hours a day, can you not put your attention here on me at home ??? He thinks I am being totally insecure and stupid ! What do you women or men think ?
Fouts Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Lots of people have work wives 'n hubbies. I wouldn't be paranoid, but it's a fine line for someone to walk, so keep your eyes open.
snoopy girl Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 if your bf talks about her all the time and tell you things about her that are personal, yes! its something to worry about and watch out for the, " we are just friends" i hope your bf won't let this get out of hand, tell him how you feel and if he repests you he will back off of the fb texts. trust your boyfriend, he may just be a nice guy at work, but keep your eyes open. good luck
make me believe Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Yes, definitely keep your eyes open. I agree with you that he doesn't need to be chatting with her outside of work. If she really is just a colleague, and there is no flirtation/romantic interest, then he needs to set some boundaries and focus on YOU when he is at home.
SuburbanOblivion Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Studies have shown 'work spouses' VERY often turn into affairs. I'd lay down the law on this one.
