totallyunsure Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 hi,i am hoping for some advice i went to a funeral yesterday and after we went to a local pub about 20 minutes away and i straight away saw a gorgeous barmaid serving us.i went to the bar about 4 or so times buying drinks and we casually chatted for a small period of time.she came to my table about the first time and took a couple of glasses away then came back about 2 minutes later and took another glass away then came back about 5 minutes later to remove two crisp packets.throughout the afternoon i kept glancing over as she was looking at me and we kept looking at eachother for a few seconds at a time.then when i was leaving she came outside for a coffee break and she kept glancing over as did i.i just want to know from evrybody if what i think is right-that i am in with a chance?
JohnM Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Totally in with a shout there. Why not? You probably had a bit of banter, she kept herself in view by coming and collecting glasses. Not many staff bother to go to a table just for crisp packets! Whats to lose, think about it now. Whats the odds you'll bump into her again. Let alone after a long time she may not remember you. You should head back there, you could even just pop in and see if she is working. May be worth going back on a similar day to increase the chance she is in. I take it you didn;t know her name. If she is there ask if you could meet up sometime or some other outside link and leave your number. If she is not then you could leave your name and number and hopefully describe her accurately enough to another member of staff but thats risky as its better for her to see you. Go for it!
