Seriously correct. Imagine it OP. You are a guy and you have a beautiful girl ( you ) to take anywhere in town on your second date. And you pick the place your ex works at ?? Warning ! So wrong.... ( Did he mention her in a hateful or an overly on top way ) I think Alpha is right. She dumped him. He is showing you off because you are beautiful. I know you said he is taking you somewhere else....The most important question is : Did he EVER mention her on all your pre chats and on your first date. If so RED FLAG You are then a rebound if you answered Yes to the above question...

See if he talks about her in a negative or positive way....He should have NO reaction when thinking about her if he is getting into you.. Save yourself from getting a broken heart too soon... One more tip : If he rushes things like " I love you " and wants you to meet his family on the 2nd date ....watch out !
