lispo Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 i am in a long distance relationship with a guy. we started dating 1 month ago, but we were in a sexual relationship before our official courtship. he left for college a week after we made it official. the thing is he still lives with his ex who he broke up with about a month before committing to me. i know he loves me but SHE also loves him. how do i react to that. what should i think will happen.

Ok now look at the words I put into bold and let's make them one sentence. "He still lives with his ex, she also loves him." Now I have a question, is he making arrangements to find a new place to live at? Also when did you two begin your sexual relationship? Was it while he was still with his ex? Because if it was, then you can bet that while he's away at college he'll probably cheat on you if he cheated on his ex.

Now usually I don't say "once a cheater always a cheater" because that's not always the case. But if he cheated on her with you while he was still living with her, what makes you think he's going to be faithful to you? And he's still living with his ex, and will continue to live with her for the next 3 months or so, but you honestly believe he won't cheat on you while he's away? I'm sorry, but I see a huge RED FLAG here.
Author lispo Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 i don't think he will since he no longer has a close relationship with her. we speak daily, on the phone, messenger and on fb. we always keep in contact with each other. i don't see where he would get the chance to cheat with her let alone anyone else. we do everything for eachother and i know he loves me he reminds me all the time. this is why i don't think he will cheat. will be seeinghim in the next 4 months.
