They DID tell her she was live on the air before they engaged her in any conversation.

Although they did tell her they were 'live'... I very much doubt what they did is OK with the broadcasting laws... she had no idea where that was going... and they openly laugh at her... 'live'..

I still think it was scripted.. so that people would 'talk' about this for days..

in detroit we have a radio station that does is weekly. they call it "war of the roses". the radio station calls the supposed cheater and offers them free roses from the recipent of their choice; if they send them to someone who is not the boyfriend/girlfriend (who is on the line as well, unknown to the "cheater") then the boyfriend/girlfriend has the option to confront the person. it can get pretty heated, yeah it is wrong, but it is also wrong to cheat, so i cannot feel too bad for these people.

it can also be really, really funny, or really, really disapointing (when they catch a cheater but the boyfriend/girlfriend does not break up with him or her).

If I had a radio station... those kind of 'shows' would be well rated.. and popular.. so it's easy to set up those type of pranks in order to boost the station.. I don't buy these stories.. :o

If they told her she was on the air, then it could very well be real, and theres no laws on this kind of content. Theres no laws against blind sighting someone. If there were, theres be some very boring tv also. The FCC just doesnt want to hear the 7 dirty words, or making fun of any special interest groups that can write a letter.

I think that is the height of boorish offensiveness. Yes, what she did is horrible, but to publicly air your dirty laundry only lowers you to her level.

no, cheating would have lowered himself to her level.

Who would seriously want to date a guy that would do that?

If they weren't cheaters, they wouldn't have to worry about it.

I have heard from many different sources that war of the roses is scripted.

Drama= more ratings. Some of it may be true, but for the most part I believe it to be scripted.

Oh and at least be honest, the only reason you call the guy trashy is because you are pissed that he didn't let the girl get away with like every other guy. What should he have done? Kept it a secret and let her tell everyone they are breaking up because of mutual differences.
It has nothing to do with getting away but it's about acting like an adult and not bringing your problems publicly. He had the option to break up with her face to face privately. That is what mature people do.

Honestly I wouldn't be bringing my issues neither on a radio or a talk-show. That would be a waste of time and energy for me when I can spend it on useful activities.

I would say the same to a woman bringing her problems publicly. It makes no difference.

In the end, I have no sympathy for neither of them. The woman was a dirty cheater but the guy is bad news too.
