There is is lady where I work who I have always thought was attractive. I wasnt single when she started, then she started seeing someone else at work. We are now both single and over the last 6months have been working together more often.

We often exchange jokes via our cell phones, which leads to lots of messages back and forth, one time nearly all weekend. We like the same comedy programs as our sense of humour is similar which is why I think we get on.

She is several years older than me and has said several times in passing that she doesnt want another toyboy, although we do flirt alot together.

I invited her to join me to go somewhere one sunday, which she couldnt make, but did say she would go another time.

What do you think on here? Is she interested?

As I always say: Keep your hands off the company goods.

Doesn't matter if she's interested. Don't get involved with your co-workers.

She may be interested, she may not be. It isn't normally advisable to date someone you work with, esp. if you work closely with them. I like a guy at work, but I don't work closely at all with him, in fact, we do very different jobs. That sort of distance may make things less awkward if it went wrong, or it may not. But it's a risk, you could end up out of a job if it goes horribly wrong.

So lets say, hypertheticaly, that wr both like each other. Would you say not to get together?

I say just assume she likes you. Go out with her.

If you pass this opportunity by you will look back with regret. Just go for it!

I totally disagree. You're far more likely to regret getting involved with a co-worker than passing one up.
