How long do I wait?

I just recently found this little tavern that is awesome and the bartender is sooooo nice. He talked a little bit and when I went to the bathroom he asked my friend a few questions about me...my age, were we friends...

 

I've been back a couple of times and he apparently is part owner of the bar so whenever I order a drink its free...he touches my arms all the time and seems genuinely interested. 2 days ago (wed night and today is friday night) He asked for my phone number.....Heres the thing...its a bar that mostly men go into apparently and he seems nervous about me being there without him there....so when he left at 10 he told me he got a cab and he's dropping me off on the way home...which was ok. As I got out he said he would call me. Not sure of the guy timeline, lol....but he hasn't called yet. I did not take his number so I'm not calling him but how long do I wait for him to call me or how long do I wait to go back into the bar?

He said he would call you, but he hasn't yet. Ok. Fine. There could be a hundred things that stopped that from happening.

 

But that shouldn't stop you or your life. If you like that bar, go back and hangout. Proceed as usual, enjoy yourself, keep meeting new people. It's ok.

 

You can even break the ice by going up to him and making light of the whole thing. Or you just don't mention it and talk to him as usual. Or you could begin to talk to him less to see if he will approach you more. (or call you)

 

He will call you if he's genuinely interested, if not, it works out for you anyway to just keep going. Keep it friendly, keep your hangout and keep meeting more guys. :)
