PJKino Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 If when he or she would point to people on tv or wherever theyre extremely attracted to and they looked completely opposite of what you look like? Would you start thinking youre really not your partners type physically and he/she really isnt that attracted to you??
counterman Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Probably not. All that fuss about Edward Cullen (Rob Patz) and others has made me use to this. I think some people on tv are hot as well and wouldn't hesitated to point it out.
threebyfate Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Nope, unless my partner were to constantly be pointing out women and saying he`d like to do her on a consistent basis. It`s a matter of degree of insensitivity and rudeness.
USMCHokie Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 No, not at all. My ex and I each had our "celebrity list"...I was nothing like any of them on that list...but she thought I was attractive enough to date, so that was enough for me...
and.then.some Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I think it depends on how it's done, and how often. Soon after the birth of my son I was told "Damn! I remember when you used to look like that" while watching a music video. He lived, but he learned not to do that again...ever. If everything else in the relationship is fine, and there's nothing else going on that would give me cause to feel insecure, I probably wouldn't even notice it. If I said "OMG! JOHNNY DEPP!" and ran to the TV, that really shouldn't make anyone jealous. It wouldn't bother me if the shoe were on the other foot. However, there is such a thing as taking it too far.
