Ok we met online talked for a week and half. She's very pretty. I asked her out for drinks, she had to postpone due to family issues but wanted to try for a week later. I said ok and we met up.

It started off with a bit of a weird vibe (nerves? she talked like crazy for a while and I kind of looked around the place a couple of times), but after we each drank we started laughing and having a good time. Still I couldn't tell if she was really into me. So I walked her to the train, we hugged and I only kissed her on the cheeck since I didn't know if she was into me and frankly, if I was really into her (if I sense any unattraction I immediately lose interest).

She said she wants to start writing again. Since i wasn't sure about her, I deciced to come up with the idea that we write a story together and included many talking points from the nite before and then sent it to her. She sent her submission a 1/2 hr later. I called her that nite (last thursday) and asked her out again for Tues. She said yes but then I didn't hear from her until Mon when I emailed her to confirm our meeting place (since there was a bit of confusion). She said she was in an accident over the weekend and had an insurance guy coming over and thus cancelled and said "maybe next week?" (not sure I believed it and maybe had something to do with Valentine's day). I emailed back and said sorry about that and for her to let me know about next week (since she cancelled). She hasn't replied....

Normally I don't/won't play games, and I have a weird sense about this, but dammit, I'm intrigued :)

Thoughts? suggesions?

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt while getting to know them. The ball's in her court at the moment... just wait and see when she contacts you again. If and when she does, pay attention to her reasons for losing touch. Ask about the accident and see if it all makes sense.

In the meantime, if someone else catches your eye... don't hesitate on getting to know them.

First family issues, then a car accident- on top of you having a "weird" feeling? Don't dismiss your gut.

The ball is in her court- she needs to reschedule, she needs to take the initiative with rescheduling.

Don't contact her- let her contact you. If she doesn't, move on. Don't chase.

It could have something to do with V-Day. Some of us are really funny about that. "Why didn't he want to see me on V-day?" "Why didn't he at least call to wish me a happy V-Day?"

Especially since you met online, any weirdness could have easily been first date jitters.

I guess only time can tell. :)

Best wishes!

This is one comment I don't understand. She'd really kiss me? She's make the first kiss, really?? I'm not sure about that...

I can definitely see the V-Day thing, but seriously, what do you expect after meeting just once?

LOL I agree. I've never made the first move.
