Ex-g/f calls 3 later after i told her i couldn't talk to her for a while

The stupid phony conversations, the i'll call you back but doesn't till like the next day. So i finally got the heart and balls to tell my ex-girlfriend that I couldn't talk to her for a while but didn't tell her when I would call her back. She didn't want to do that and she told me that she was getting better, (with the whole calling back when she says she would thing). But I needed to get through to myself that we might not get back together, ever. It hurts like hell even thinking about it so on new years day after i didn't even talk to her new years eve because she got so drunk and passed out even b4 it was even 12, i told her i couldn't talk to her for a while and i told her i loved her and she told me she loved me to. That was the 1st and now she calls me today, the 4th. I didn't answer the phone and she left me a nice message like "how have you been" and, "i havent' talked to you in a couple of days" and she was like "call me back toni.......i mean, hopefully you'll call me back tonight, if not i'll talk to you later bye", and she sounded like she was trying to sound ok, i think i might have heard a little sniffling, i dunno

 

Should I call her? help me out please

NO. Do NOT call her. If you told her you wanted no contact, then stick to it! Otherwise, she's not going to know that she can't just come and go as she pleases. Stick to your guns. You have to hold the power right now to stay away from her.

In a way I agree with sarah12, but i have been on the other end of that no contact thing and it's no fun.

 

i think you need to contact her and have a serious one on one that will get down to the bottom of the problem of her not taking you serious when she says she is going to call you.

 

this way there is no question on her side or yours. you stated your side and warned her of what will happen and if she did it again, she should not be suprised of the repercutions.

unfortunately b4 i had posted that message i had already talked to her, but when we talked the signal on our cell phones kept going in and out but we didn't complain or anything, but she told me she was at her friends house and they were going to the movies and that she was gonna call me back when she got home. Then i typed that quote wondering if i made a mistake. she asked me if i was going to answer the phone and i told her yeah, now i feel like i shouldn't of answered the phone. Help me out please

 

i'm sorry i can't give any feedback on u guys situations, i'm only 21 and she is my first girlfriend so i'm still pretty new to this
