I've been just fine for the last couple of days. Today I got up, went to class, nailed my speech and got an A+, and as soon as I was out of there I felt like a black cloud descended on me. I suppose I have a long way to go seeing as it's only been a week, but I feel like crawling back into bed and not coming out until Monday morning. I don't feel like doing anything or seeing anyone, which is not like me. Bleah! I hope everyone else is having a happier weekend than I am :o

These ups and downs are definitely part of the coping process...and a week isn't really very much time...but rest assured that it does get better!

Thanks, you guys are awesome :) I'm feeling much better today. I had a brunch date with an old flame from years ago who I'm still friends with, and I went shopping afterward to spice up my wardrobe a bit. My ex had been borrowing so much money from me all the time that I never spent any on myself. A new pair of heels will brighten up most women's day. I hope you're all doing fine today.

Atleast you've shown that you can block emotions out when neccesary by acing your speech. I envy you.

When I first fell in love I failed an exam and lost like 10 pounds just thinking about her. It was terrible. Luckily, we broke up in the summertime so there were fewer obligations to screw up.
