Check the phone, the bank statements, throw those condoms out and see it a new box appears.... Get a tracking system on his truck and find out where he goes.... Get tested for a STD...get the results... Get all the proof you can and then confront him. PS (I personally do not know a man on the planet who would willingly WANT to wear a condom if he did not have to or was forced to!...Just sayin')

It IS Valentine's Day.. Big woop! A Cheater's Christmas... Just ask his ass if he's cheatin' You SHOULD know when he is lying... If he lies, and he will, you will know. My point is that all of the heartbreaking "discoveries" could be forgone if you just ask him point blank. You will know he is lying, and then you can take your next steps.. he WILL get busted sooner than later, I just dont want you to keep finding all of these "clues", cause they will hurt very much with every text you read, every condom you find, every sneaky phone call he makes, and how long will that go on??

Just trust yourself MORE than you trust him. You already know he is cheating. You already know there is no good reason for condoms to suddenly be a part of your sex life with him after unprotected sex for more than a decade. I know it is a difficult thing to face and you want to believe him.....but you don't believe him. You know better. You can confront him all you want. He will lie lie lie and deny deny deny. Because he is having an affair but he doesn't want you to leave. You can gather all the evidence you want. AND if backed into a corner this way he will confess to what you can prove and that is all. He will lie and deny everything you don't have direct evidence of. He is insisting on condoms because he knows or suspects he has been exposed to an STD. The longer you deny this to yourself, the longer you put YOURSELF at risk. Trust what you know more than you trust what he says.

Needless to say the next day I was compelled to look in the truck. I found a pack of condoms tucked in behind the some other items in the door. Well gosh, doesn't everyone keep their birth control hidden in their car or truck? Nope. Nothing to be suspicious about. I also think he's afraid (or knows) he picked up something when he was dipping his wick where it didn't belong, and he's petrified you'll catch it. What an ass.

Pleeeease. He knows he's been exposed and so, therefore, have you. Get yourself checked out. Since he's a one for the lying, I'd get proof before you confront him otherwise he'll just spin you another line. It doesn't even matter if it's as crappy as the last; if he's not honest he'll give you reason to doubt. Take that doubt away.

Of course, without absolute proof you'll second guess yourself. And cheaters are the best manipultors in the world so in my opinion it's time to get sneaky and nasty. 1. If you can't afford a PI, go online to one of those spy stores. They sell an inexpensive matchbox sized GPS tracker you can hide in his truck. When he comes home, all you have to do is plug it into your computer and viola...everywhere he's been since you hid the unit will be mapped out. I'll bet within a week or so you'll know exactly where he's been hooking up with his ho. Hell, you might get lucky and see a hotel or a suspicious residence on the first go round. 2. Get access to his cell phone bill. Dollars to donuts you'll find one particular number pop up over and over again. When I caught my ex she thought she was clever by deleting all her calls and texts to the guy on her actual phone. Her bill told the real story. I knew something didn't jive when one number I didn't recognize was on there literally hundreds of times. 3. The computer is a cheaters worst enemy. Do a file search using any letter of the alphabet....everything he's accessed will pop up. Dig a little and you'll probably see bits and pieces of deleted emails, possible dating websites, etc. PI's are great for those that can afford them but you can do a lot of spying all on your own for minimal expense. I had everything I needed to know within days of suspecting something was afoul. Oh...and one other thing. Cheaters come up with all kinds of semi-plausable reasons to address suspicious behavior. His explanations for the rubbers are on the verge of being laughable! He must truly question your intelligence but it's obvious to me that you ain't buying his load of bull. Maybe his boots need to point his sorry butt straight out the door LOL!
SuburbanOblivion Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Unless the two of you suddenly have issues with your birth control not being reliable(and you've obviously managed that for 18 years well enough!) there is NO reason other than cheating that a man would suddenly want to start using condoms. My guess is not only has he cheated, he's picked up an STD and he knows it.
