engravefeelthevoid Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 (edited) Well I don't know if there is a general rule for this....me and this girl are going out on our first date this valentine....we've been trying to date for the past month but we fought as we have some mutual friends and we go to the same university...she was taking time off and it also gave me time to think things over...well see I really do wanna make out with someone and I mean I'm attracted to the girl...she seems to like me too she says it to all our friends and to me aswell.... Author engravefeelthevoid Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 good point...we we both came to a conclusion that it's OUR relationship and we let people from outside interfere....now she misses me like hell and wants to see me and she said she dreamt about me and saying stuff like anywhere with me is heaven and she wants to dress up... so suppose that the mood was great...and there was a good place...would making out be possible on that first date ?
rod_in_gtown Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Sounds like a definite possibility. The hardest part of it is getting to the first kiss. Once there, it's all easy street. Just make sure you don't startle her with it. Just approach her slowly, come close to her, make sure you touch her gently, maybe the arm or her waist. The key is GENTLY. You don't want to make her feel like you're invading her space. And when you're about 6 inches away from her, pause for 2 or 3 seconds and smile. This will give her a moment to react, and if she smiles back and keeps her eyes on you, then close the gap (if she hasn't already). Ah I love first kisses. First kiss shouldn't be a blown out make out session, make it special, memorable, leave her wanting more, as long as the first kiss is not the good night kiss, you still have a chance to make a second kiss more passionate. Make sure you take the clues from her, see how she kisses, if she's soft and light, be soft and light, if she's more aggressive, then congratulations! you've got yourself a make out session! Make sure you have mints or mint gum around, bad breath can be a dealbreaker. However, I have to tell you, I don't recall ever having kissed a girl with bad breath. Maybe I've been lucky. Author engravefeelthevoid Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 (edited) oh my gosh Rod we soo need to talk haha this is killing me ! well today she asked me on IM if Im getting a car and its would be better if we got a car...mm maybe she does want a make out session...she really really misses me ALOT and shes sooo excited about sunday she keeps talking about it. my idea is to take her to this park where no one ever goes....its soo romantic and theres a good walking path and trees and stuff.,,,theres also alot of benches where we can sit together and we're gona talk for sometime then im gona get closer as u described and tell her I had a great time with her shes gona say yah me too them am gona tell her Happy Valentine's day while smiling and making eye contact....I just hope it works !!!! Or too nervous, a little nervousness is ok, but know that she WANTS to go out with you, this indicates that she likes you. If she wants a car, she may just want to make sure that you guys have some privacy (cabs are not that private). I know you guys are friends, and while being friends sometimes means being less than a gentleman, do know that ladies (even those who are one of the guys) want to be treated like ladies, even if they don't say they do. Open doors, pay for the check, offer her your hand when she steps out of the car. Tell her she looks beautiful and ask her about what she likes and wants to be. Have an opinion but don't be opinionated. Not to say that you shouldn't be yourself, just be a gentleman version of yourself. Good luck! Sounds like you're in for a great valentine's day. Have a small gift for her, something small and inexpensive, you don't need to use any of the cliches. You'll win more points if you get her something that she has mentioned in the past or that you know she would like because of things you know about her. It shows attention to detail and that you think about her when you're not together.
Author engravefeelthevoid Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 Well said Rod....I needed to hear this....I'm getting her this blue scarf she ementioned some 6 days ago in a nice bag with some chocolate inside it. so far its going well considering my planning and expectations....as to nervousness well I don't usually get nervous with girls I'm a good pick up artist but honestly getting to this point where a girl really wants to go out with me and can't wait is kinda new....I don't make out everyday or go to romantic places with a girl alot either....so I feel I may get a little nervous. I'll work it out
Eeyore79 Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Make sure she knows you're taking her somewhere outdoors so she can dress appropriately. Women get incredibly annoyed if they get all dressed up and then end up being taken somewhere like the park, especially if they're wearing high heels and they're expected to walk on grass. The weather isn't exactly warm, so you want her to dress with the expectation of spending time outdoors - hat, warm coat, that sort of thing. It'll ruin your date if she's wearing a mini-skirt in February and her thighs are turning blue.
